100 Years of Wisdom” Ceremony marks Massy’s 100th anniversary
Massy Stores St. Lucia marked a significant milestone – their 100th anniversary – by honoring the island’s remarkable centenarians in a special ceremony.
Held under the theme “100 Years of Wisdom, our 100 meets theirs,” the event brought together Massy officials, the Minister for Equity, Human Services and Social Transformation, and most importantly, 24 of St. Lucia’s living centenarians.
The ceremony welcomed esteemed guests like 108-year-old Ms. Eldica Nicholas, one of the island’s oldest living centenarians, and Ms. Anne Marie Mathurin, who recently turned 100.
Massy Stores expressed gratitude to these inspiring individuals by presenting them with special care packages and vouchers. The company also acknowledged the families of those who couldn’t attend the event.
Martin Dorville, Managing Director of Massy Stores St. Lucia, emphasized the company’s longstanding commitment to its community. He reiterated the importance of valuing St. Lucia’s senior citizens, expressing the company’s delight in including this event as part of their year-long celebratory activities.
