Massy Stores Supports Fond St. Jacques Primary

On Friday, February 4, Massy Stores Home donated (3) three television sets to the Fond St. Jacques Primary School.

This donation will support the school’s efforts at integrating technology into student learning given the many challenges, which COVID-19 has placed on the education sector.

Mrs. Virgil Mangaroo, Principal of the Fond St. Jacques Primary School collected the TV sets from Massy Stores Home (Gabelwoods South). She expressed her thanks for the generous donation, which she considered very timely. In her words, “This will allow the school to increase student engagement and bridge some of the gaps created during this season of COVID-19 as we work towards making learning more fun, effective and efficient.

Massy Stores Marketing and Corporate Communications Officer Mrs. Kittel Raphael-Dubois was on hand with the Massy Home south team to present the TV sets.

“We know that our schools are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to engage students in the classroom whether physically or remotely. We trust that this donation will bring much value to the school’s endeavor to enhance its curriculum through this period of COVID-19” she said.

Massy Stores Home is the latest addition to the Massy Stores (SLU) family. The store carries a wide range of large and small appliances within its three convenient locations, at the Gablewoods Mall, Sunny Acres, Gablewoods Mall in La Tourney Vieux Fort and within Massy Store Mega (Choc, Castries).
