IICA HOOPSS Programme Encourages Healthy Eating Among Montessori Centre Students 8
Young learners at the Montessori Centre Saint Lucia, ages 2 to 5, received a special visit, recently, as IICA Saint Lucia, through the Helping Out Our Primary and Secondary Schools Program (HOOPSS) teamed up once more with Massy Stores Saint Lucia Limited in promoting healthy eating and love for local produce.
IICA Saint Lucia’s Technical Assistant (Projects), Tiffany Surage, together with Business Development and Marketing Consultant, Kendra Payne, spent the day supporting the children as they colored art pieces featuring local fruits and vegetables.
With sponsorship from Massy Stores Saint Lucia Limited, the completed artwork will be proudly displayed at the Gourmet, Rodney Heights, and Rodney Bay branches. The initiative aims to spark interest in choosing local produce while reinforcing the Montessori Centre’s emphasis on healthy habits and nutritious eating.
During your next visit to the Gourmet, Rodney Heights, or Rodney Bay Massy Stores, be sure to look out for the colourful creations of these bright young stars, and may their artwork inspire you to eat local.
