Ms. Massy Stores presents gift to Secondary School on behalf of company
The Castries Comprehensive Secondary School’s Learning Resource Centre is accessible to students to do homework, undertake research, print documents among other things matters. Last week the school’s resource centre received a gift from Massy Stores Home.
In an effort to improve the quality of teaching and learning at the educational institution, the Castries Comprehensive school embarked on a drive to obtain resources for the learning resource centre. The company approached Massy Stores Home for a 55-inch TV in support of the effort.
Kejean Smith, the Massy Stores contestant in the 2022 National Carnival Queen pageant presented the school with the appliance on behalf of her sponsor. Kejean, a teacher by profession was on a courtesy visit to the various divisions of the retail chain, meeting with Management and team members.
The school’s Shop Director Michael Peterkin says, the addition of the electronic device to the resource center will support the different learning styles of the students by offering a combination of sight, sound and motion as they explore various subjects and the world around them.
