15 MONTH OLD MASSY POINTS SET TO EXPIRE ON APRIL 30TH, 2018

On April 30, 2018 Massy Points earned prior to January 31, 2017 (15 months earlier) will expire if not redeemed.

This means Massy Points that are 15 months old will expire.  That portion and only that portion will expire.  All of your other points will remain.

Every month thereafter the portion of your points that is 15 months old will expire if not redeemed.

Check your Massy Points balance and whether you have any Points that are due to expire each month by:

Continue to monitor your account on a monthly basis to find out if there are 15-month-old Massy Points set to expire.

What is required for Registration?

You are required to provide the following information: 

  1. A valid photo ID
  2. You will also be required to select a “Home Store”

NB.“Home Store” is the store where you do your main shopping and where you can redeem your points at the cash register.

Why am I issued a Massy Card (key ring) upon registration?

The Massy Card (key ring) is issued to you to allow you to earn points while you shop at Massy Stores and Massy Card Partners (See attached), until you receive your personalized Massy Card, which takes up to six (6) weeks to be ready after activation of your Massy Card (key ring). 

However, you must activate the Massy Card (key ring) in order for a personalized card to be issued to you later.

How do I activate my Massy Card (key ring)?

You can activate your Massy Card (key ring), when you register at the Customer Service Desk at Massy Stores.  During this time let us know whether you would like to receive information on promotions, specials and partner offers via email and other information channels.

What is a personalized Massy Card and when will I receive?

Your personalized Massy Card is unique to you as it will have your name on it.  The card will also have the same number as your Massy Card (key ring) which you will continue to use. 

The card should be ready for collection from your “Home Store six (6) weeks after you have activated your Massy Card (key ring).  Please walk with a valid photo ID for collection

Can I have a joint Massy Card?

Yes, you can. Joint cards are perfect for households where more than one person shops for groceries. Here’s how it works:

  1. There is one primary Massy Card holder.
  2. A maximum of three cards (secondary cards) can be linked to the primary card.
  3. Each of these cards will have a separate Massy Card number.
  4. All points earned are pooled and sent to the primary card holder’s account. This means only the primary Massy Card holder (bearing valid identification) can redeem the Massy Points on this joint account.

How can I redeem my Massy Points?

Once you have accumulated a minimum of 500 points which is equivalent to $5.00, you can begin to redeem your Massy points.  You can redeem your points using both the Massy Card (key ring) and your personalized Massy Card, however, a valid photo ID will be required at the time of redemption.  Points redemption can occur in the following ways:

  1. Instant Redemption - At the cash register of your “Home Store” as cash to pay for goods purchased.
  2. Massy Gift Vouchers - At the Customer Service counter to purchase Massy gift vouchers (denominations of $10, $50 & $100) to be used as payment at other Massy Stores and Massy Card Partners.

Can Massy Points expire?

Yes.  Massy Points expire 15 months after they are earned.  This means, when you have earned your Massy Points you must use them within 15 months or they will expire.

When will I know how many Massy Points are due to expire on my loyalty account?

At the beginning of each month, any Massy Points that are due to expire at the end of the month will be shown on your loyalty account.

To avoid losing Massy points due to expire on your Loyalty Account, you should redeem for vouchers or use them as payment for purchases at any Massy Stores.

What happens if I forget my Massy Card when I purchased goods, can I get my points later?

No, this will not be possible.  Massy Points are awarded only at the time of purchase when your card is scanned.

I lost my card how can I get a new one and is there a fee?

Yes, you can get a replacement card from any Massy Stores at a replacement fee of EC$5.00.

What happens to my Massy Points if I return an item?

You earn Massy Points when you purchase products. Therefore, when you return an item, your Massy Card will be scanned in order for the Massy Points which you earned to be deducted from the points balance on your account.

Where is the Massy Card accepted?

The Massy Card is accepted at all Massy Stores Supermarkets, Gourmet, Home and Pharmacy locations and at participating Massy Card Partners.

Can the Massy Card be used only in St. Lucia?

In addition, to St. Lucia, your Massy Card can be used at all Massy Stores across the region. This includes St. Vincent, Barbados, Trinidad and Guyana.
