Massy Stores Continues To Pledge Its Support For the Northern United All Stars

Derek George of Massy Stores Northern United Football Club accepts $12,500 donation fron Sancha Raggie, Marketing Manager Massy Stores (SLU) LtdIn a small cheque giving ceremony held at the Massy Stores Head Office, the Massy Stores Northern United managed by Derek George, was the recipient of its annual donation of $10,000 in continued support from the newly rebranded company and an additional $2,500 towards the Northern Zone Club Championship which will encompass twelve teams from the north of the island vying for various prizes.

As the company continues to promote youth development through sports, Mr. George expressed his satisfaction in receiving the support from the company after eleven years with this year seeing twelve other clubs benefitting from the donation handed down by Massy Stores for the tournament which has already began.

Mr. George added that, ‘Massy Stores formerly Super J, has been supporting our club from since 2006, and the club is elated at the aid in youth development, equipment for senior and junior teams and even assisted through their community outreach which helped three families all residing in the Gros Islet community. For this we say thank you and hope to continue the very strong relationship in the future.’

Massy Stores Divisional Head for Marketing and Corporate Communication, Mrs. Sariah Best-Joseph stated, ‘we are proud to stand behind Massy Stores Northern United, in continued support of this compelling programme which promotes youth development.’

The tournament is slated to culminate at the end of October 2016.
